Monk is a tribute to the great musician/piano player and composer Thelonious Monk. The harmonic structures and angular melodies with moments of whole-tone movement help to create a touch of 'Monk' flavour.
The featured guitar here is the classic Gibson ES355 played through a Fender Hot Rod Delux amp. Also featured is the extraordinarily talented Geoff Beasley on keyboards who plays an excellent 'Hammond' solo. Geoff also plays fretless bass with Darryn Farrugia on the drums.
