A latin-jazz piece, featuring the tones of my Angelus guitar on the melody and improvisation, accompanied by a classic rhythm guitar, piano and bass. The rhythm is held down with an ostinato bass part and interactive classic rhythm guitar, while the Angelus leads the way with the melody. Following the first run through, the guitar branches off into improvisation while the piano restates the melody in the background. Finally the guitar and piano come together toward the end. The piece takes the listener on a journey where the ear is stimulated with countermelodies, intricate rhythms and subtle polytonality.
